CI International Certification Sdn Bhd (known as CI International) operates under the group of CI Malaysia Group and Socotec Certification International Ltd. (SCI) in Bristol, United Kingdom. CI International started its office in Malaysia in May 2000 as the branch office CI (UK) at that time, by the founder Mr Ooi Soo Kang, who is now the Country Director/ Group Managing Director of the local Malaysia office.
CI International is one of the leading certification bodies in Malaysia, providing international standard and national standard certification services to assist organizations that seek to harness on Quality, Anti-Bribery, Environmental, Information Security, Facilities, Food Safety, GMP, Occupational Health and Safety, Energy, and Information Technology Service Management System for business performance improvement.
Socotec CI Group of Certification Bodies operates internationally from locations around the world with 22 offices serving 25 countries in Europe, Middle East and Asia such as Japan, Philippine, Singapore, Malaysia, China, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Thailand, etc.
The Socotec Group have more than 13000 clients and 650 auditors internationally. Therefore clients certified by CI International will receive international recognition for their achievements.
Our activities are monitored and regulated by accreditation body of UKAS of United Kingdom and Department of Standard Malaysia, which is unencumbered by vested interests or hierarchical pressures. This ensures the integrity of CI certification process and its continuing compliance with the requirements of International and National Accreditation criteria.
CI International is accredited by Department of Standard Malaysia for Quality Management System (ISO9001) scheme (CB No.3) in 2003, Environmental Management System (ISO14001) scheme (CB No.5) in 2006 and Occupational Safety and Health Management System (OHSAS18001) scheme (CB No. 9) in 2015.
CI International has earned accreditations and recognitions from many well known national and international organizations, as well as government agencies.

Recognizing the importance of training and human resource development in today’s business environment in order to support business development, CI International has established CIMY International Standards Training (M) Sdn Bhd in 2008 to extend our focus into training services in providing in-house and public training in relation to International Standards Management Systems and management soft skills training courses.
